About Us
Dalit Council of India (DCI) is a non-political, non-violent and constitutional organization committed to protecting the rights, dignity, and equality of the Dalit community across India.
Despite constitutional safeguards, Dalits in many parts of India continue to face:
-
Caste-based discrimination
-
Denial of equal education opportunities
-
Social exclusion and humiliation
-
Separate and discriminatory rules in villages
-
Harassment and exploitation based on caste identity
Dalit Council of India works to raise a united voice against caste injustice, provide legal and social support, and ensure that constitutional rights are implemented at the grassroots level.
Our Mission
-
To unite Dalit communities and allies to raise a collective voice against injustice
-
To promote awareness about constitutional rights, laws, and protections available to Dalits
-
To provide legal assistance and guidance to victims of caste-based discrimination and atrocities
-
To empower Dalit youth through education, awareness, and leadership development
-
To work within the framework of the Constitution of India to achieve social justice

Our Vision
To build an India where:
-
No individual is discriminated against on the basis of caste
-
Dalits enjoy equal status, respect, and opportunities
-
Education and justice are accessible to all
-
Constitutional values are reflected not only in law but also in everyday social practice
